visual artist — London
Two queer artists, armored in leather, fur and combat boots, stand firm within the wilderness of urban light and shadow. Their garments serve as both protective plating and personal autobiography, boldly declaring that they are neither wandering ghosts nor fleeting guests — they are the sovereign masters of this realm.
Amidst the mundane rhythm of a street-side cafe, she weaves an aesthetic barrier of protection with exaggerated makeup, a shimmering handbag, and a geometric maxi skirt. Hiding in plain sight within the metropolis, she casts her "spell" through eccentric styling to defy the gaze of the mediocre.
A black hooded gown clings like a second skin, sculpting the body into a living monument. Set against the backdrop of grand, imposing architecture, a back-bending yoga pose shatters the linear logic of the street. This serves as a satirical take on the anxious and disciplined existence of modern life. While many attempt to reclaim their souls through yoga in the concrete jungle, they often forget that our pulses are already beating with inherent vitality.
I am a visual artist working across photography and wearable art. I am fascinated by the clothes people wear and the hidden cultures they represent.
To me, clothing is more than just a cover for the body; it is a silent language that records our identity, cultural background, and reflections on aesthetics.
Through my lens and designs, I explore how people use clothing to find and express their true selves within the modern city.
